What 1,070 Wh actually runs
Rated capacity is not usable capacity — the inverter takes a cut converting DC to AC. We work from ~910 Wh usable and divide by the real draw:
| Load | Draw | Calculated runtime |
|---|---|---|
| Full-size refrigerator (modern, Energy Star) | 150 W × 33% duty | 14 h |
| CPAP, no humidifier or heated hose | 30 W | 20 h |
| CPAP with humidifier + heated hose | 90 W | 8.7 h |
| Wi-Fi router + cable modem | 20 W | 26 h |
| Laptop (charging) | 60 W | 12 h |
| Box fan | 75 W | 10 h |
| Space heater (high setting) | 1500 W | 36 min |
These are calculated, not measured. Real results vary with temperature, battery age, and how hard the inverter is working. Treat them as a planning baseline, not a guarantee.
Details the spec sheet buries
- Jackery markets a "1 hour" recharge; that is the Emergency Super Charge mode, not the default. The standard wall charge is about 1.7 hours. Both numbers are true — they describe different modes.
- Only one of the two USB-C ports is 100 W. The second is 30 W, which matters if you were planning to fast-charge two laptops.

Will it run a full-size refrigerator?
Yes. A modern full-size fridge draws about 150 W while the compressor is running, and the compressor runs roughly a third of the time. Against ~910 Wh of usable capacity that calculates to about 14 h. Starting surge is the other half of the question: the 3,000 W surge rating covers a standard domestic fridge comfortably.
Can I recharge it from solar during an outage?
Yes — it accepts up to 400 W of solar input. In good sun that is roughly 3.6 hours to refill from empty, allowing for real-world panel losses. Note that "good sun" is doing a lot of work in that sentence: panel output falls sharply with cloud, angle and heat.
Will it run a space heater or an air conditioner?
A 1,500 W space heater is right at the edge of the 1,500 W inverter, and it would flatten the battery in well under an hour. Resistive heating is the worst possible use of stored battery capacity. A window air conditioner is more realistic on paper, but the compressor surge is the deciding factor.
How current are these figures?
Every specification on this page was checked against the manufacturer's own documentation on 2026-07-29, and the sources are linked at the foot of the page so you can confirm them yourself. Manufacturers revise specs quietly and retailers copy old figures for years, so if you spot a discrepancy between this page and the source we cited, tell us and we will correct and re-date it.
