Affiliate disclosure

Solar Backup Lab is reader-supported. This page explains exactly how, in plain terms, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement.

The short version

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.

Which links

Any link labelled "Check today's price" or otherwise pointing to a retailer is an affiliate link. They carry rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines can identify them as paid placements. Links to manufacturer specification sheets, cited as sources, are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.

What commission does not buy

What we cannot promise

We do not track prices or stock. Retail prices change daily and any price we printed would be wrong within a week, so we link you to the live listing instead. Availability, shipping and warranty terms are between you and the retailer.

Not professional advice

The runtime figures on this site are calculations intended to help you plan, not engineering guarantees. For anything life-critical — medical equipment above all — follow the device manufacturer's guidance and keep a backup that does not depend on our arithmetic. See our methodology for how the numbers are produced and where they are uncertain.
